A man accused of murdering Ledarion Allen Jr. and shooting his girlfriend, Shatari Shene Cook has been extradited from New York for his arraignment.

Local nonprofits and small businesses in Val Verde and Castaic could be seeking support from the county after the passage of a minimum wage hike last week.

The William S. Hart Union High School District has announced a policy which will provide cheaper lunches for students.

Expect some closures on the Golden Valley Bridge and Highway 14 next month, night closures are scheduled from August 4 to the 22nd.
