May 19: Measure E; Passing Tournament; more

A 10-year-old sustained minor injuries after being struck by a car near Fair Oaks Community School Thursday afternoon.

A measure that aims to add funding for facilities at College of the Canyons is headed to the June 7 ballot. SCVTV reporter, Jessica Boyer, sat down with COC president, Dianne Van Hook, to talk about what makes this measure so important for the college.

The William S. Hart District say they will be downsizing class sizes for the 2016/2017 school year.

The Santa Clarita Valley got its first glimpse of what high school football in 2016 might look like as West Ranch hosted it’s first passing tournament this afternoon.

    That 10 yr old was not hit by a car, he fell in front of it because he was causing the street on his scooter without looking and then tried to stop when he finally saw the car. The driver of the car stopped before he hit him
