July 25, 2016: Sand Fire Updates; Red Cross Evacuation Center; More

High and rising temperatures as well as the potential for winds to increase were just a few elements firefighters were battling at the frontlines of the Sand Fire on Monday.

Over 10,000 homes have since been evacuated due to the Sand Fire that began on Friday afternoon.

Golden Valley High School Summer School students will be attending the remainder of their summer school classes at La Mesa Junior High.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District is reporting that air quality is unhealthy for everyone in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Television viewers can catch the SCV NewsBreak on SCVTV at the top of every hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., repeating the following morning at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
