October 12, 2016: Missing Person, Silver Spur, Haunted Jailhouse

A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to a lifetime on the sex offender registry and 45 days in county jail after he pleaded no contest to child molesting on Tuesday.

Lancaster detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding a 71-year-old woman who went missing last Friday.

Two more rabid bats have been found in the SCV and that brings the total to 13 for this year.

The College of the Canyons Foundation has announced the recipients of the “Silver Spur” Community Service Award for 2017.

Going to jail isn’t supposed to be fun, but for the 28th Halloween in a row our local Sheriff’s Station will host the Haunted Jailhouse.
