Around Town | Relay for Life Participants Raise Funds to ‘Give Cancer the Boot’

The 2017 Relay for Life saw hundreds of participants and thousands of visitors come out in support of giving cancer the boot on Saturday and Sunday. The Relay for Life raises funds for the American Cancer Society, which directs those funds to research on cures for cancers. In the past 18 years, Santa Clarita alone has raised $7,200,000 through this event. (c) 2017 SCVTV |
