June 13-14: Informational Meetings for YMCA Adventure Guides Program

Moms and dads are invited to attend an information meeting for the YMCA Adventure Guides program on Tuesday, June 13, or Wednesday, June 14. These meetings will give parents/guardians the opportunity to learn about a program that has been bringing families closer together for over 75 years now.

Formerly known as “Indian Guides” or “Indian Princesses,” Adventure Guides allows one parent and their child (grades K-3) to spend time together during fun, well-organized outings throughout the year. These outings include three overnight camps – on Catalina Island, in the snow of Big Bear and on the beach of San Diego – and smaller, local events like a pinewood derby.

For more information about the meetings or the Adventure Guide program, call 661-253-3593
