Team Gold Rush congratulates our Gold Medal Students of the week for the Week of May 29, 2017
Fabiana Vela is a great student who keeps track of her work on her own without prompting from the teacher. She makes sure to ask clarifying questions when she’s confused or just to make sure she understands the directions in order to complete her work accurately.  She also works hard to be an important asset to the school yearbook team. Hannah Valdez is cheerful and bubbly, and she contributes great ideas during class discussion. She is well liked by her peers and always contributes to class discussions. We love her inquisitiveness and general love of learning.
Textbooks were due LAST WEEK-Important library news. All library and textbooks were due last week. You must return any outstanding items and pay fines if you want to participate in the end of the year activities. Any debts left uncleared will carry over to next year, so please clear the library’s LOP list immediately.
SUMMER READING, SIGN UP NOW-In other library news, remember to  sign up for the public library’s summer reading program. You can sign up online from our Sierra Vista library’s homepage. The challenge is to read five books during the summer. You can win prizes from the public library, and returning students to Sierra Vista could also receive a pizza party. So sign up today.
REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD-And finally, all students should write down their computer passwords and keep them until August. Passwords will not be reset over the summer. This applies to your AD password, your Google password for email and Google docs, plus  your Infinite Campus password.
LOST AND FOUND TODAY ONLY-During lunch today only!  Be sure to check the tables in the quad area for lost items.  Anything not claimed will be donated to charity.
TRAILBLAZERS-Congratulations Trailblazer Students of the Week, Kaylee Hauge and Jake Madison. Kaylee is a quiet worker who leads by example. She loves to read, and is always kind and considerate to peers and teachers. Jake has a great sense of humor.  He is kind, respectful and a terrific student!  We feel fortunate to have both of them on our team.
