  91. City ofSanta Clarita also needs to reduce the speed limits in the City. I feel everyone is always driving to fast even when driving at the limit. People please be careful and cautious of your surroundings. Slow down if you see bikers and runners. Let pedestrians cross the streets… Slow down! SHS has lost a beautiful girl with a future ahead of her.. Our kids are shaken by this tragedy. Rest in Peace!

    • I absolutely agree! Near Oak Spring Park in Canyon Country (residential street) people do 40+ mph all day/night! I’ve turned in license plate #s, asked for more patrol, recorded people cursing me out for using my blinker, slowing down to 5-10 mph (from 20-25 that was already annoying speeders behind me) to turn into my driveway, etc… SCV won’t take it serious no matter how many of my neighbors complain! We’ve had 3 people hit on this street but until we start losing babies (if even then) nobody cares!!! Ridiculous… Doing 50 MPH on a short residential street isn’t gonna get you home significantly faster! Is 10 seconds worth it?
