The coroner’s office has identified the body of a 3-week-old baby that was found Saturday morning in Newhall.

There will be no competition in the special election for California’s 21st Senate district.  Sharon Runner was the only candidate to file for the seat.

Most students have to dissect a frog or read about amoeba but SCVi Charter School eighth-grade students are getting the opportunity to fly an airplane.

Local businesses were honored at the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 91st Installation and Recognition Banquet Friday night.

More than 100 kids turned out at the new Santa Clarita Little League for a baseball clinic put on by Los Angeles Dodgers greats Reggie Smith and Bill Russell.
