A former juvenile camp therapist pleaded no contest to felony child abuse charges and sentenced to a two year suspended sentence.

It has been more than two years after a former Hart district teaching assistant was shot and killed in her home and there is yet to be a trial for the victim’s daughter, who stands accused of her murder.

The William S. Hart School District hosted the Women in Stem, Mars Rover presentation on Wednesday at Golden Valley High School.

Western swing at it’s best is rolling into town April 17.
