An accomplice in a 2011 Halloween murder took a deal in court on Wednesday morning.

Santa Clarita Sheriffs Deputies detained a suspected hit and run driver on Wednesday afternoon near Sand Canyon in Canyon Country.

L.A. County Supervisors approved a proposal to clean out areas of the Santa Clara River as part of the Department of Public Works Catch Basin Clean-out 2015.

The SCV Education Foundation gathered at the COC Performing Arts Center to celebrate some of the best teachers in Santa Clarita.
