  1. EVERY TIME THEY PLANT A TREE OR A BUSH MY TAXES GO HIGHER, WHAT IF YOUR A SENIOR ON A FIXED INCOME. DO YOU THINK THEY CARE. HELL NO!!!!!!!!!

  2. @Barbara- the residents in that area voted it down a few years ago!! I think it was a minimal amount on their annual prop. tax ($35-40 or so?) and they said no.

  3. how about some beautification going up whites canyon ???

  4. I’m happy to see that area finally getting the attention it needs (though $1.3 million doesn’t seem like it’ll go that far to me). It has great potential, especially with the VONS center improvements underway.
Something desperately needs to be done to improve the appearance of that trailer park on the corner, though.
It’s a run-down, barren eyesore and it hurts everyone’s property values in that area.

  5. Now if we could get rid of some mobile home parks…

  6. Thank god they’re finally paying attention to canyon country

  7. Linda Morgan says:

Canyon Country is almost always last to get everything, exception crime.
