Dr. Dianne Van Hook is in her 24th year of service as CEO of the Santa Clarita Community College District and College of the Canyons, one of the fastest growing two-year colleges in California.  Passionately committed to higher education and its integral role in economic development, Dr. Van Hook has led the way in forging educational and training partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and private industry to ensure that citizens possess the high-technology skills that will sustain California's economic growth.

With the formation last year of the Soroptimist Int'l. of Greater Santa Clarita Valley "Educating Women to Lead" scholarship, our club is now one of such partnerships with COC in our community.
