Dear  Friends, Fans, Family
Futbol Club Santa Clarita would like to thank each and every one of our fans, friends, and families that came out and supported us this are first year in Santa Clarita. For the Storm in was a very exciting and full filling season.
As a team the Storm went  9-3-3 in season play, giving the Storm 30 points and second place in the Southern Conference and in the Western Region.
The Storm lost is final game last Saturday in a play off match in Oakland, California against the Bay Area Ambassadors. That also brought the 2012 season to an end for the Storm. The Storm would also like to thank the City of Santa Clarita for it's support and sponsorship. The William S Hart High School District and Valencia, Hart, Golden Valley and Canyon High Schools for there generosity and allowing us to use their facilities for our home games. And the City of Santa Clarita Parks and Recreation for the use of Central Park as our official training facility. Our first year was a tremendous success and we are looking forward to the 2013 season .

Oakland, California- The Game was a typical play off game with hard aggressive play on both sides each side waiting of a mistake in play so they can take advantage of it. It was the Storm striking first in the 15th minute as they had done so much of this season. Martin Galvan brought the ball down the middle of the pitch, seen midfielder Andes Bueno on the left side. Galvan made a pass to Bueno while on a run. Bueno received the ball at his feet and set and scored to put the team up by one. But just five minutes later the Ambassadors wanted to show why they where the Northern Conference winners and in the 21st minute Ambassadors midfielder picked of a louse ball in midfield and from 25 yards out tied the score with a shot the went by Storm keeper Alex Burkevics .
 The Storm responded to the goal with an attack of there own the lead to a foul and a restart 20 yards to the left of the Bay Area goal.

team up by one. that was the second goal by the Storm in the first half and the first 45 ended with 2-1 lead for the visitors over the Ambassadors.
 The Second half is what the Ambassadors needed to regroup. The second half was more intense as time was running out for the Ambassadors and they continued to apply pressure and in the 66th minute of play while defending in he box a foul was called against Storms midfielder Matt Shaxton that lead to penalty kick of the Bay Area Ambassadors and that was enough to get the lead and what ended up the wining goal.  The Storm in the first round of the 2012 NPSL Western Regional Play offs. The Ambassadors will go on to face the Sonoma County SOL next week as the Sol knocked off the Southern Conference Champions the San Diego Flash in a 4-3 win in Penalty kicks. .
  The Santa Clarita Storm ends the season with a 9-3-3 record, 2nd in the South West Conference to the Flash.
