LINER NOTES: Our fifteenth show of season one features some outstanding music video and a look at a couple of new up and coming artists featured in the studio. Joe Whyte, a singer songwriter from New York City joined us in Nashville during the Americana Music Association Conference and Festival to perform a couple new tracks. Our “Other Side of Nashville Series” features an outstanding band from London, The Coal Porters with an alt style of bluegrass. Show host Reb Landers sat down with roots/Americana guitar legend Will Kimbrough to talk about his latest project ‘Wings’, and his history of recording and performing. New videos from Robert Plant and Band of Joy, John Mellencamp, the bee-hive queen Christine Ohlman, American Graveyard, Jimmy Baldwin and Carrie Rodriguez. Alternate Root TV is now airing in over 50 markets throughout the United States and more are climbing on board every day.
