Santa Clarita voters had the chance Tuesday to select board members for three local school districts and one water district, log on to or for election results tonight; Santa Clarita will play host to the Amgen Tour of Santa Clarita in 2014.

Classes and activities are expected to resume Wednesday at Cal Arts; The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has set aside $1.3 million towards the purchase of 550 acres in the Newhall Pass; Thousands gathered for a centennial celebration of the Los Angeles Aqueduct Tuesday.

The City plans a special Veterans Day ceremony Monday at Veterans Plaza in Newhall.
