Thousands from all over the western frontier descended upon the famous Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio this weekend.

More than 40 bands, professional artists, and extreme athletes entertained crowds in a one-of a kind festival, produced by high school students at the Santa Clarita Skate Park.

Ten people were arrested and 35 others were cited during a saturation patrol conducted by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies Friday night.

The percentage of California high school students who make it to graduation is on the rise, Department of Education officials announced Monday.

Former Valencia High golfer Alison Lee, now a freshman at UCLA, won the PAC-12 Individual Women’s Golf Championship by three strokes Sunday at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvalis, Oregon.
