A man accused of stealing nearly $2,000 dollars in ammunition from a Newhall gun club is behind bars.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a woman for driving under the influence Sunday, but based on the arrest report, she’s lucky she didn’t get charged with grand theft auto.

Longtime community colunteer Connie Worden-Roberts will be honored with a lifetime achievement award Friday afternoon at Hart Hall.
