Six extraordinary Santa Clarita women will be honored at the 5th annual Empowering HeArts Gala this fall. At a kickoff event Thursday, the honorees were introduced to the artists selected to represent each of them in an annual art contest, which also serves as a fundraiser for Santa Clarita-based non-profit Single Mothers Outreach.
