Sheriff’s Station officials are investigating several Twitter accounts that claim to have posted naked pictures of underage boys and girls. Hart School Board members voted 4-1 Wednesday to switch to electoral districts in an effort to quash the threat of a lawsuit by attorneys who’ve sued other local agencies this year, alleging their at-large voting systems disenfranchised Latino voters. The Saugus Union School District will be making an appointment to their board of directors on Friday to fill a vacant seat. Rabid bat number five turned up in the SCV earlier this month outside of a home in Canyon Country. Santa Clarita City Council members are requesting Congressman Buck McKeon, consider introducing legislation to deem the site of the 1928 St. Francis Dam Disaster a National Memorial. I’m glad the city of Fillmore erected a monument in honor of the two motorcyclists who raced down the 126 corridor alerting citizens to get to high ground, and in doing so, saving hundreds of lives.
