The City’s FREE Youth Sports and Healthy Families Festival draws thousands of residents each year to try a new sport, learn healthy eating tips and get inspired to be more active in their daily lives. The action-packed festival will offer more than 20 different sports for residents to try, including baseball, soccer, cheerleading, fencing, golf, rock climbing, sand volleyball, Kayaking, Innertube water polo, snorkeling and more. The festival’s Healthy Families Experience, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, will feature Explore the Store! and Create Your Plate! activities from Whole Foods Market to show families how to make healthier meals, and activities sponsored by MyGym will be available for younger kids. The festival will also feature a raffle for fun prizes, with all proceeds benefitting the City’s S.C.O.R.E. program.

Saturday, August 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
