What happens when the bike moves over is the car driver suppose to move over even more so he is pushing the car beside him off the road or even hitting ? Actually highways are made for cars. I’ve seen bike riders move to the left when a car is coming up beside them, I’ve also watched a bike rider in traffic lane holding up traffic.

  3. So I gotta cross a double yellow line , and get a ticket because the cyclist is in the middle of the lane?? Dumb

  4. Gary Mason Gary Mason says:

How about the ones who INSIST on riding side by side down the road?

I actually ride out here too and nothing pisses me off more than other people riding side by side chit chatting with their buddy… People need to learn to ride single file unless you’re passing just like a car would. Save the chatter for your pit stops or destination.

They should have to ride closer to the curb or side walk when there is no bike lane. I give them room but some of them ride like dicks. Don’t be in traffic lanes when there is a bike lane.

I’m sorry, but isn’t there paseos that allow bicyclists to cycle all over this valley? The roads are too dangerous… I see people every year (during rainfall) that drive in their lanes. Ride the paseos!

When you’re hit by a soccer mom on your right of way walking your bike across the street and are knocked into oncoming bouquet traffic, you are happy for any bike safety laws. Yes this happened.

  20. I always give them 10 feet just to make sure they r ok

  21. When riding a bike all rules/laws apply as if you are driving a car! And everyone will be safe! I agree stop at stop signs/lights.

  22. I don’t have a problem giving cyclists room! But they also need to respect the road/cars!

  23. Frosty Stilwell why do I think this is reallllly gonna annoy you? Lol.

  24. Megan Roy Megan Roy says:

Now for the bicyclists to walk their bikes across the cross walk would be wonderful.

Laws don’t make riding a bicycle in vehicle traffic any safer for rider or driver…

It doesn’t make it any smarter either…

  26. Paul Mahone….. never gonna happen. :(

  27. It’s fine people I’ll just put a stick out of my window and I’ll fine myself for everyone I hit because of the lack of sense “some” bicyclists have.

Relax it’s a joke I’m not going to hit any bicyclists.

^sad that I have to point out that it is a joke. But I don’t want people thinking it was a serious post

  28. Paul Mahone Paul Mahone says:

Cool now get the cyclists to stop at stop signs.

  29. Kristi Kay Kristi Kay says:
