Voting polls close at 8 p.m. and COC’s Cougar News will be live on SCVTV with election results all evening.

The hart school district is hoping to change the way its school board members are elected, without first asking the voters.

A former Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy who lives in Saugus was sentenced Tuesday to 400 hours of community service for his role in receiving bribes in exchange for fixing traffic tickets.

Los Angeles County Supervisors are expected to decide Wednesday if Val Verde Park will get a facelift.

SCVTV and KHTS will simulcast the Golden Valley Saugus game Friday from Cougars Stadium.

Kids are invited to let their imaginations run wild at the SCV Education foundation’s 8th annual literacy and arts festival on November 15 at the Old Town Newhall Library.

Television viewers can catch the SCV NewsBreak on SCVTV at the top of every hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., repeating the following morning at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
