I was fortunate egunoh to be one of the many students Fr. Alex taught while he was at Bishop Montgomery High School. He made my faith something real and relevant, which for a teenager, is not an easy thing. I was then blessed again by having him at my parish when I got married and he performed the ceremony. Having someone who knew me made the wedding ceremony an even more special occasion and Fr. Alex made everyone (catholics and non-catholics alike) comfortable and engaged in the ceremony. I can’t tell you how many people remarked to me how great he was. Fr. Alex, I know you are with our heavenly father and I thank you for the wonderful influence you were in my life. I will always remember your jokes in high school and at my wedding, your smile and endless faith, and will forever appreciate all you have taught me about my Catholic faith.
