A jogger was struck and killed by a car early Thursday morning.

A local Santa Clarita Deputy talked an 11-year-old boy off a ledge in Haskell Canyon on Tuesday night.

Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Angeles National Forest Fire battled a fire near the northbound 1-5 and Templin Highway on Thursday afternoon.

Construction is finally complete on the Newhall Avenue Beautification project between Sierra Highway and Railroad Avenue.

College of the Canyons opened registration for the fall 2015 semester.
