A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy was killed in a crash on San Francisquito road late Wednesday night.

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station cracked down on pedestrian safety laws on Thursday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood and thunder storm warning for Thursday night.

Santa Clarita residents stopped, dropped and covered on Thursday morning to prepare for disasters.
