Let us take you on a musical journey! The Santa Clarita Philharmonic is excited to present a Pops concert with a medley of music by Abba, songs from the Broadway musical “Les Miserables” and a cleverly delightful selection of animal themed songs arranged by Composer in Residence Mark Gasbarro. One of the most anticipated highlights will be Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf narrated by TV personality Dave Caldwell. This exciting performance will take you on a  musical journey  meeting the instruments of the orchestra as they represent each character in the thrilling tale of Peter and his adventures to catch the Wolf and make the meadow safe for his friends. One of the most famous musical tales ever told!

Come at 2:00PM  to visit the Musical Instrument Petting Zoo with West Coast Music Academy and get to know the instruments up-close. The remainder of the season includes a concert on May 15, 2016.
