March 16: Candidates File for Election, High Speed Rail Announces Plans, more

Wednesday was the final day to file for Assemblyman Scott Wilk and Senator Sharon Runner’s open seats as well as the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors 5th District and the 25th Congressional District seats.

College of the Canyons chancellor Dianne G. Van Hook spoke with the local business community today to discuss how the college is preparing to meet the demands of local businesses.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced their revised plans and potential routes from Burbank to Palmdale.
