May 2: Summer Meltdown, New Henry Mayo Plans, more

The Summer Meltdown brought music and art lovers to Central Park on Saturday while raising awareness of autism.

The city of Santa Clarita Planning Commission will hold a hearing Tuesday for a new master plan for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

The Castaic Union School District has been dealt its fair share of ups and downs over the past few years. Those hardships have not gone unnoticed by the community and most of all have not gone unnoticed by teachers.

This past weekend, awareness wasn’t raised through fundraising and raffle tickets but through playing sports.

Plus this week’s weather.
