An explosive was delivered to a Main Street business Wednesday afternoon, prompting SCV Sheriff’s to shut down Main Street and evacuate the surrounding area.

Captain Roosevelt of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station said the explosive device was “inert,” which means it was inactive.
