July 21, 2016: Memorial Service for Senator Runner; Heat Wave; More

A memorial service celebrating the life of State Senator Sharon Runner is set for July 29 in her lifelong hometown of Lancaster.

The words science and technology tend to make students both excited and nervous, however, teachers in Santa Clarita are learning new ways to make these intimidating subjects more student friendly.

Sheriff Jim McDonnell announced Thursday that 7,044 weapons were confiscated within Los Angeles County.

With temperatures hitting the triple digits Thursday and staying that way through the weekend, Sheriff’s are warning all to practice heat safety no matter where you are.
