SCV News | Couple Faces New Beginning After Home Burned in Sand Fire

Jan Sanborn and her husband Loren Janes are thankful to have escaped the Sand Fire. However, what they thought was going to be a relatively uneventful evacuation turned into a nightmare, when they returned to their home to find it had completely burned down. With it, they lost years of memorabilia from Sanborn’s time as a musician and Janes time as a well known Hollywood stuntman. Jan Sanborn I use to work at the Arco on Sand Canyon and talked with Loren a lot about is days with Steve McQueen because he was one of my favorite actors. Loren gave me 4 of his tapes talking about all of his work I know you can probably get copies but I still have them if you would like them to make DVDs copies or just to have the tapes. I was sorry to hear of the loss of your home. I so enjoyed talking with Loren when he would come into the station I know it’s not much but if you would like the tapes I would be more than happy for you to have them back.
