Episode 316: Free Lead Tests for Children; First Responders Develop New Strategies for Communicating with the Homeless

On this episode of LA|NOW, the city of Vernon hosted free blood and lead testing for children in the Exide contamination zone. Also, law enforcement is looking for ways to better interact with the homeless. The Department of Animal Care and Control is teaming up with  SPAY4LA to bring spay and neuter services into communities. Plus, county libraries and the community discuss the future of what libraries of the future will look like.
