In this News Flash, Caltrans Public Information Officer Philip Havins and CHP Lieutenant Shann Setter talk about the new Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility, which is located in a rural, unincorporated area of San Bernardino County on Interstate 15, approximately seven miles south of the California-Nevada border.

The new enforcement facility will provide enhanced safety to motorists while reducing damage to state highways from overweight commercial motor vehicles. It will allow the CHP to inspect vehicles for unsafe loads and equipment violations such as faulty brakes and steering.
