The annual River Rally on Saturday brought out an estimated 1,500 attendees, all looking to help clean up part of the Santa Clara River.

Volunteers met at the Newhall Community Center, where they were trained and then allowed to head out to the river to clean it up.

The River Rally happens every year and each year focuses on a different part of it.
