MAKE UP PHOTO DAY- This Friday, September 23, is Make-Up Photo Day. If you were unhappy with your school portraits, bring your complete photo package to school on Friday. If you were not here for Registration, Make-Up Photo Day is your final opportunity to get your school photo professionally done, AND your final chance to have a professional portrait taken for the yearbook. Lifetouch photographers will be ready to shoot starting at 7:15 on Friday morning, and will be at school through the end of RELAX. If you have any questions, please see the yearbook adviser, Mr. Ippolito, in Room 301.

DESIGN THE CAR OF THE FUTURE – Do you like cars? Are you interested in a career in automotive manufacturing, designing the cars of the future? If so, come to the library TOMORROW at lunch to hear from an expert in automotive design.

FEATURE YOU IN YEARBOOK- Are you involved in a sport or activity outside of school? Soccer? Gymnastics? Football? BMX? Diving? Dance? Ice skating? Horseback riding? Cheer? Or something like these? CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES- Video Game Club is meeting this Thursday after school from 2:15-3 p.m. Last week, we enjoyed playing individual, handheld games (like the Nintendo DS) as well as playing as a group on a Wii. Want to play with us?  See Mrs. Flaherty in room 101 for a permission slip before our next meeting on Thursday. Also,  The Glee club will be meeting in the  choir room at lunch. See you there.

WHEN YOU WISH UPON A DANCE- when you wish upon a star…our first dance of the year arrives! Come and join us at the “Happiest Place on Earth” for our Disneyland dance which will be in the MPR on Friday, September 30th from 2:30-4:30pm. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, September 26th at the ASB window for $8, but don’t wait, because the prices will go up to $10 on Thursday. We also have a special “Fast Pass” ticket available for this dance: for $15 the Fast Pass gets you to  the front of the line admission into the dance so you don’t need to wait more than a few minutes to get in, as well as a free beverage and churro, as well as front of the line admission to our games. If you purchased a Sierra Vista Dance Party Pack, you do not need to buy a ticket, but you can upgrade to the Fast Pass for just $5 at the ASB window. Don’t forget to bring your student ID card with you when you purchase a ticket and come to the dance. Additionally, students cannot be on the LOP list if they wish to buy a ticket, including Party Pack members…they must be cleared from the LOP list too! We can’t wait to see you at our first dance where dreams come true.
