October 4, 2016: GV Bridge Reopened, Renamed; Charity Helps Haitian Victims of Hurricane Matthew; More

Golden Valley Road Bridge, now known as the Connie Worden-Roberts Memorial Bridge, was reopened and renamed on Tuesday.

A Canyon Country man entered no contest pleas on Tuesday for running over a 53 year old bicyclist and then fleeing the scene.

Hurricane Matthew has hit the Caribbean hard and it especially ravaged the island of Haiti.

The longtime superintendent of L.A. County’s William S. Hart Regional Park has been promoted to Regional Superintendent 3 and will oversee the county’s Castaic Lake Recreation Area.

Television viewers can catch the SCV NewsBreak on SCVTV at the top of every hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., repeating the following morning at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
