  1. For the past week I have stopped watching the news because I’m sick of all the attention given to those who protest in violence and looting with the news always seeming to add fuel to the fire. Last night I watched and caught Sheriff Jim McDonnell address the public. Thank you Sheriff for giving the very best report on this horrible murder. Law enforcement lay their lives on the line every day and I for one am thankful for all their dedicated work. Most don’t realize a officer isn’t/can’t take the time to analyze a situation when it’s life or death. There are those who will use any excuse to demonstrate/riot/loot or sue the city. Sending prayers to Sgt. Steve Owen’s family, friends and co-workers. A wonderful man murdered by someone with no regard to life. Thank you again Sheriff for your media report.
