Oct. 18. 2016: COC Unveils New Soccer Field; High Winds Hit SCV; More

COC officially unveiled the college’s new state-of-the-art field turf soccer facility at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday.

L.A. County Supervisors approved a motion to apply for several park grants for several parks in the Fifth Supervisorial District, including some parks in SCV.

Most are thinking about pumpkins and Halloween costumes in October, but for staff of the Boys and Girls Club of SCV, it’s already time to prepare for the annual Festival of Trees.

A red flag warning has been issued for the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas due to wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

Former basketball players from all the Santa Clarita high school teams will face off at the High School Alumni Basketball Tournament this weekend.
