Great Shakeout Drill Prepares Students for Emergencies

In a disaster, it’s all about time.

At exactly 9;41 a.m. more than 2,000 students rushed from classrooms to the field for the Great California Shakeout Drill Thursday at Golden Valley High.

Several schools within the Hart School District will conducted drills, but what Golden Valley High School does is a step beyond.
