City Council was busy Tuesday night when they appointed the newest member of the council, Cameron Smyth as mayor and decided to fill a recently vacated seat. A beloved teacher died Wednesday after a long battle with leukemia. Saving a life is as simple as giving blood. Some Canyon Country families got a visit from someone special – way before schedule. Antonio Curiel has the story. A scholarship fund has been set up to honor Rod Bennet – the teacher who was killed by a hit and run driver earlier this year.
