Sulphur Springs USD | Mint Canyon Community School Celebrates New Stoplight

Press conference celebrating the new stoplight outside of Mint Canyon Community School, a project ten years in the making. The stoplight is located on Sierra Highway, marking a new “road” entering into the elementary school called “Education Highway”. The school and District Administration worked closely with the L.A. County Board of Supervisors, including former Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, to secure the stoplight. With the stoplight’s inauguration marking a new era of safety for the children and families attending Mint Canyon Community School, the celebration featured speakers from the L.A. County Board of Supervisors, faculty and staff at Mint Canyon Community School, plus a performance from the Mint Canyon Spirit Squad.
