Jan. 16, 2017: Missing Person; City Council to Select New Council Member; More

Van Nuys area LAPD officers were in Castaic Saturday, serving a resident with an arrest warrant after he was suspected of attempted murder in Van Nuys last week.

SCV Sheriffs are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person.

City Council members will select the new council member during a special meeting on Tuesday.

The Board of Supervisors is looking into reallocating Park In-Lie Fees Funds to a few SCV parks projects.

The SCV Sheriff’s Station is now taking applicants to their Vital Intervention and Directional Alternatives, or VIDA, program.

Television viewers can catch the SCV NewsBreak on SCVTV at the top of every hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., repeating the following morning at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
