STEAM EXPO- Attention all Plainsmen: the second STEAM Expo for Santa Clarita youth is being held on Saturday, January 28, at the College of the Canyon’s University Center in Valencia, and it is bigger than ever! This free event, targeted at young people ages 5 to 19 and their parents, will feature workshops on website design, mobile app coding, robots, science, video game animation, graphics design, and STEAM careers. GOLD MEDAL STUDENTS OF THE WEEK -Team Gold Rush congratulates our Gold Medal Students of the week for this week. Emanuel Zavalza is a student you can always count on to get the job done, he’s diligent, persistent and meticulous. Further, Emanuel is respectful towards all and has a kind spirit about him. Maia Brombart is a sweetheart, always lighting up the room with her smile and positive attitude. Additionally, Maia puts forth 110% effort and works well collaboratively, keeping her group on task. It’s a pleasure to have Maia on our team!
CANYON HIGH SIERRA VISTA NIGHT – Canyon High is having another Sierra Vista night on this Friday, January 20th! Just bring your Sierra Vista student I.D. card to the 5pm game for girls varsity basketball and/or the 6:30pm boys varsity basketball game, and you get in for free! See you there!
DEPUTIES OF THE WEEK – Team Rangers would like to congratulate our Deputies of the Week, Andres Luna, Sofia Cordova, Daphne Ramos, Matthew Allison & Daniel Ceja!!
