Jan. 23, 2017: Flooding; Coffee Shop Vandalized; More

The series of winter storms is forecasted to be finished as of Monday night, but the heavy rain left behind flooding and even snow in some areas.

Evacuation orders for residents in the Sand Canyon and other Santa Clarita Valley burn areas were lifted at 10 a.m. Monday.

Newhall coffee store Honu Coffee was burglarized in an early morning window smashing on Monday.

Santa Clarita Valley volunteers are planning to join in on a countywide effort to count the local homeless population and residents can still sign-up to help.
