Sometimes a good friend is all you need, which is something student’s in SkyBlue Mesa Elementary’s Circle of Friends program have learned. The program pairs special needs students at the school with students in the general education program there, allowing them both to forge bonds of friendship and provide special needs students with a safe space to interact with other students.
