Team Gold Rush congratulates our Gold Medal Students of the week for the Week of February 20, 2017, Mariam Awad shines as she puts forth her best efforts on a daily basis. She is diligent, responsible, curious, and a delight to have in class.Katie Huffman is a bright light in the classroom. She is always positive and participates, always striving for academic excellence. She is an outstanding student who we are so happy to have on our team.
HONOR SOCIETY OFFICERS – Congratulations to our Spring 2017 Honor Society Officers! Don’t forget to check your student email for information regarding the Installation Ceremonies this week!
MATH CLASS- Mr. Nauman’s after school math class will not be meet today, Wednesday, February 22. The class will meet again on Monday, February 27.
Spurs Team would like to congratulate these students for being selected as Student of the Month, Marc Bordomeo, Clara Cornejo, Nick Anderson, Sophia Santos. Each of these students does an outstanding job of representing our team. They are hard-working, considerate and dedicated to achievement. Congratulations to each of you! Please stop by room 102 this week to pick up your certificate.
BOX TOPS – We’re collecting Box Tops again this year. Containers are in the Team Leaders room. Box Tops will be collected at the end of each month. Students bringing in Box Tops with their name on the back of the Tops will be entered in a monthly drawing for ice cream passes so be sure to listen to the announcements to see if you won. Today in Clubs and Activities the Rubik’s cube club will meet in room 401, Yo-Yoers club in room 902 and the tutor chess club will all be meeting in room 1001. All of these clubs will be meeting at lunch. Also the Canyon High tutor club will be meeting after school in the library from 2:15- 3:15 pm. Finally Mrs. Mowry’s reading and writing workshop will be meeting from 2:15- 3:15.
