The Sheriff’s Station is seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for questioning about a theft. A small brushfire that erupted Sunday afternoon was quickly extinguished by county firefighters. With April being recognized as Distracted Driving Month, CHP is partnering up with a variety of organizations to bring more awareness to the dangers of distracted driving. Registration is now open for the 2017 College of the Canyons Summer Institute. Monday’s temperatures were in the low 70s throughout the day and Tuesday it will heat up to about 80. Television viewers can catch the SCV NewsBreak on SCVTV at the top of every hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., repeating the following morning at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. SCVTV runs on Time Warner Cable Channel 20 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and streaming on SCVTV.com.
