Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 50 Flight Engineer Peggy Whitson of NASA discussed life and research on the orbital laboratory during an in-flight educational event March 3 with the Hartsfield Elementary School in Houston and members of Houston’s 4-H Clubs. Whitson, who is a 4-H Clubs alumnus, is in the midst of her third long duration mission on the station. She is scheduled to break the U.S. astronaut endurance record of 534 days in space on April 24, which NASA’s Jeff Williams currently holds. (c)2017 SCVTV | NASA
