JOB IN SV LIBRARY- Attention 7th graders: Do you like to visit our SV Library? Would you like to get some real work experience? Could you use some extra money to pay for field trips, dance tickets and more? Then apply to work at the circulation desk at our library for the fall semester. You can choose your work shift to be before or after school, or during brunch and lunch one day a week. See Mrs. Fulleman for more information. Applications will be due on Friday, May 19th.

GLOWING GALAXY DANCE!- Come join us for our last dance of the year, the “Glowing Galaxy” blacklight dance on Friday, May 12th from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the MPR. We will be having “out of this world” decorations, cool lights, and fog machines. We will also be selling Krispy Kreme Donuts and snacks at the dance! We will begin selling tickets on Monday, May 8th starting at $5 through Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday tickets will be $8, and Friday they will be $10. Remember to bring your ID card with you when you purchase a ticket. Please remember that students CANNOT leave the dance early due to safety reasons. We encourage wearing white or neon colors because those colors will glow in the black lights! Hope to see you at our last dance of the year!

NEW ASB MEMBER MEETING- Attention NEW members of the 2017-2018 ASB class: there will be a mandatory meeting in Mrs. Terranova’s room (1002), at the beginning of lunch on Thursday, May 4th. We will be selecting our shirts for next year and discussing officer elections. If you cannot make this meeting, please see Mrs. Terranova beforehand.

SIX FLAGS TRIP- Attention 8th grade students, the annual 8th grade end-of-the-year field trip to Magic Mountain will be taking place on Wednesday, May 31st. Tickets go on sale THIS Monday, April 17th through Friday, May 5th, for $55 at the ASB window. For Magic Mountain season pass holders, the cost is $20 but a valid Season Pass must be shown at the time of purchase. Checks should be made payable to: Sierra Vista Jr. High ASB with student ID # on the memo line. Students must have the attached permission slip signed on both sides and completed at the time of purchase – NO EXCEPTIONS. Be sure to have your student ID card with you when you purchase your ticket or you will be sent to the back of the line. Ticket includes admission to Magic Mountain, Commemorative Shirt and Transportation. Please pick up the permission slip at the ASB window. Please buy your ticket early to avoid long lines!
